Writing: Literary forms: Narrative stories, experiential stories, fictional stories, personal letters. cards, notes, diaries. journals, recounts, rhymes, retellings, poems, plays, biographies and autobiographies, tall tales, comics, personal essays, narrative essays.
6th Grade Curriculum
Bible: Text "A Light to the Gentiles" This test delves deep into the message of the gospels. The students will then move through the teachings of Jesus, his suffering, resurrection and ascension. Extensive time will then be spent with studies focusing on the birth of the church, Paul's mission successes and struggles as the church finds its way and stands firm in the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Wednesday: Historical Character Day (wear a costume and you do not have to wear chapel clothes)
