300 sheets of college-ruled paper
1 zippered supply holder for 3-ring binder
1 3-ring binder 2" wide, with a clear pocket on the outside front cover
2 packages of tab dividers
6 college-ruled composition notebooks (the more pages the better)
Fiskar's scissors
3 packages 3x5 index cards
1 large roll of paper towel
3 boxes of Kleenex type tissue
2 boxes of pencils or a mechanical pencil with extra lead
1 box of pencil top erasers
1 NEW box of Crayola colored pencils
1 NEW box of Crayola colored markers

Writing: Literary forms: Narrative stories, experiential stories, fictional stories, personal letters. cards, notes, diaries. journals, recounts, rhymes, retellings, poems, plays, biographies and autobiographies, tall tales, comics, personal essays, narrative essays.
6th Grade Curriculum
Bible: Text "A Light to the Gentiles" This test delves deep into the message of the gospels. The students will then move through the teachings of Jesus, his suffering, resurrection and ascension. Extensive time will then be spent with studies focusing on the birth of the church, Paul's mission successes and struggles as the church finds its way and stands firm in the teachings of Jesus Christ.

We have some much to be thankful for. Our family has had many adventures this summer. Although my heart is thankful for all of the summer blessings, I am looking forward to a brand new school year and new students with an array of God's gifts. I can honestly say I am truly excited to discover more deeply how God will display His glory this coming year in these amazing youngster. I have only had glances into some of their unique gifts and talents of the students coming up.
He is always doing something new in each of us. I am so glad for fresh mercies each morning!
Can't wait to see you all this fall! Praying for you already.
