Blog requirements
I will have students post a response to the 5th grade blog above. Students must respond to the question or comment posted. A new blog comment/question will be post weekly. Students have until Friday to respond. This assignment is worth 10 points weekly.
5th Grade Curriculum
Bible: This class reflects and writes written reports regarding biblical principles. We study real-world views versus biblical views through applied topics. Students learn to analyze and apply Godly knowledge to their personal lives.
Math: Beginning with place value of whole numbers and decimals, multiplication of single, double and triple digit numbers. Short and long division. Area, perimeter and angles.

Daily Schedule
Here is an overview of what we will be learning this year:
SSR (8:30-(9:00)
Bible (9:00- 9:30): From new Testament to biblical poetry, we learn biblical principles by applying them to themes of virtue. Students study these traits, choose a bible verse to disect regarding this theme and then act out this virtue in some fashion.
