BIBLE
I feel it is very important for children to connect the baby in the manger as the Creator of the universe. For the next two weeks we will hide (which means to store-up) John 1:1-3; 10-12, from God’s Word, in our hearts. Please help your child learn these verses. We will finish our Bible stories from Judges and start the book of Ruth.

CHRISTMAS ACTIVITIES
On Friday December 19th around 10:00 we well have a birthday party for JESUS. When you have a party, you bring a gift in honor of the One having the birthday. The birthday gift for JESUS will be two cans of tuna to be given to the Union Gospel Mission which feeds the needy in the Name of Jesus. Please give your child a job for pay and then let him/her take the earned money to the store to select and purchase their gift of tuna. Last, let your child wrap the two cans of tuna and bring the gift for JESUS to the party.
Children love to open gifts. Please shop around your house for a book that is in excellent condition, has a high interest level, and one which you child would be willing to give away. Please let your child wrap it, sign an attached card and bring it to the party. The students will draw numbers to receive a book gift. (bring a bag to carry treasures home) Thanks!
Our Room Coordinators will contact you about the goodies for the birthday party for JESUS . No snack or lunch will be needed as we dismiss before lunch on Friday December 19th.
